Reference used was a photo by Darren Heath [link] and was taken during his only pit stop during the race. copyright Darren Heath
Damon Hill, Hungary 1997 ... so close. He became world champion in 96 and went to a new smaller team in 97. Nobody gave him a chance but he had Bridgstone tyres which out performed everyone else. He came in second to Jacque Villeneuve who went on to win the championship.
